Prieska - All Africa Record!!

Today, Friday 7th December, Tony set an All Africa Record in his ATOS hang glider. These guys don't give a shait about FAI. They just fly for the hang of it, so no application for ratification will be made:):):)
I towed him aloft, out of Prieska airfield, and he set off on a Tri-Angle flight, arriving back at Prieska Airfield at approx 6.30pm. After 7h30minutes of flying, his straight line tri-angle flight measured 262.7km. The actual track shows a flight in excess of 300km's!!!
He topped out at some 4200m ASL, and had a final glide in excess of 30km, arriving overhead Prieska at 400m AGL..
"Great flight", was all he had to say

Over the next week we are looking to get in excess of 500km in a straight line flight.........I've got met data coming out my ears:)
