Clay Pigeon shooting

This story did the rounds in Vic Falls a few years ago:
The Zim clay pigeon shooting club decided to have their annual competition in Vic Falls. Because of the fact that the whole area lies within a National Park they decided to apply for permission to shoot clay pigeons from Zim National Parks.
National Parks answer is a classic: " We cannot issue you a permit to shoot clay pigeons in the Victoria Falls area because according to our research, this particular species of pigeon does not occur here and we have no records of it being sighted throughout the whole of Southern Africa."
