Sh!t - Opening the forum to tell you the great news and post a pic, and it's done already. Thanx mates. Mak see you got the MMS.

Many moons ago I posted a thread:
I am still a few hours away, but the honest truth is: I am terrified of going solo!! With every hours' training I am an hour closer to going solo.
Had a lot of great replies, but the one that I can relate the most to was this one from GR8-DAD
When you are ready you will actually WANT to go solo. Your belief in youself and in your own ability will be a lot different from how you feel at present.

The last three training hours my confidence was really growing strong, especially after an hours crosswind landings where I actually made the runway without cutting grass.

Yesterday we did three circuits in near perfect conditions, then I got abandoned by my instructor. Did one great circuit. Keep telling myself: Do what you've been doing for the past training hours. Only realised when turning croswind I was in total control. What an incredible feeling.

The landing was about 300m too deep. Boy does this thing fly without the 60 kg nuisance in the back. Just couldn't get her on the ground. The landing was fine - will be able to carry on with solo training in the same plane.

Boy what a feeling .............now for my wings.

Hi Bacardi

Great memory - thanx

Few hours were stretched over several months, due to prop being replaced - twice, and some engine trouble.

Seems like it's sorted now. Gonna paint the skies white over smoke city. CFW will be evident in the skies in the future.
