Now that I have passed my flight test the softness is wanting to know when we are flying somewhere for breakfast.
I am flying from Circus so would ideally like to leave my passport at home and keep each leg of the trip to around 30 - 45 mins.
Flying trike at 50Mph. I know there are airstrips at the dam and Wingfield on the river but where would a breakfast be served?

The only place I am aware of is here at Circus.

Parys serves a good breakfast , its a nice scenic flight along the river. I'm at Wingfield which is about half way to Parys from Circus, let me know if you plan a trip out to Parys and I will join up with you

cheers

Thanks, will take you up on that offer, I passed Wingfield when doing my cross country. What is the flying time from there to Parys?

Yip I will be there from about 7. And definately hook up on a breakfast run.
Just remember freq. is 125.4 (sre) for Circus, some of the charts are incorrect. Circut for 05 is right, 23 left.

Any trike that is available, and yourself? Do you ever fly weekends? If so we have probably met.

only flown the raptor so far, still to go solo but getting there, work gets in the way of flying, that will have to change. But most Sunday afternoons at least.

Only a few more hours to solo hopefully

congrats on the licence by the way, am assuming the "Russ baron" was your instructor?

The one and only.
When do you fly, I only can on weekends and prefer mornings. With all the sissies going to 3 - axis it is good to know someone else is doing trike instruction.

ps. when you notice Russ is very quiet in the back sms'ing and organising his calendar you know you will go Solo soon.

I think its the grin that immediately comes onto the face when you hit the throttle for take off and doesn't move until well.... quite a while after landing, sometimes days!
