Was SO tempted go fly this arvie but I got to keep watch on my dog, his liver has failed due to poison...long and short. I'm grounded for a while.

My wife thought I was going to go yesterday..that would've been Gaylord territory.

Sorry I wasn't there, want to check ol Kwik upclose again...

So I flew to Lasertronics, Aero57, Microland, Babsfontein and finally Petite looking for some company.
I was sure I would find DieselFan or Ray at Microland
Or Rudix or Andy K at Petite
Nada, no-one, nothing :!: :!: :!:
Where were you all :?: :?:

 Sorry I missed you !

I went flying in the morning, first to Heidelberg where I met up with the other Rudi and from there just a bit of cruising around taking some photos. Got back at about 12 and Petit was deserted.

Hope to catch you next time :D Would love to take some air to air shots of KWK !

Hmmm, it is Monday today, I think Monday is Flyday ?

Fly safe,
Rudi

Hey Demon, I saw you at Petit yesterday but you were taxiing to the holding point so didnt want to disturb you. You were like a bullet on the downwind leg.

The only flying one by me was taking my son to fly his kite, fyi a 4 year old looses interest in a kite in about the same time as it takes to wind the line out.
By the time I had wound the string back in was tired of chasing grasshoppers and ready to go home.

Ja broer

The first 25 years normally follow this thread, afterwards it doesn't change very much.

I took my son(24) for a scenic over Harties (after dislocating his arm, so to speak) and upon landing asked him, very expectantly, what it was like. He just said: "It was nice, but not for me. I do not belong up there."

Horses for courses, then, what to say?
