3 axis rates

Postby RV4ker (RIP) » Tue Jul 24, 2007 4:21 pm

I find myself having to go back to "school". Cubby engine is back in shop. I am starting to have Bennie VW engine syndrome. I have owned the aerie for 2 years and have flown 13hrs on her :? :? :? That not the point as it performed well till now (700hrs), but I need to get a couple 3 axis hrs done to re validate MPL.

What are going rates for 3 axis aeries solo from flying schools.
Does 582 vs 912 make big differences in hourly rate?
Are all rates quoted dry? (This always catches me as I am used to Avgas rates which are always wet)
What is situation with insurance?

Anyone out there renting his aerie to a flight school who is willing to spill the beans (via PM) as to the rate breakdown?

Thanks in advance
