Not quite aviation related, but many pilots live on small-holdings and farms, so here goes...
I shall shortly have a surplus of a few honeybee hives, hence require somewhere to place some of these... so if you have a smallholding or some farmland near Cape Town, and no existing beehives to pollinate your crops, trees or fynbos, we can help each other out... you get some free honey every time I harvest, your crops or local flora are sustained by great pollination, and everyone is happy.
Contact me directly if interested

Thanks for the (minor) intrusion

Keith if you were in the North of the country I would be very interested. Its a great thing- nothing better than fresh honey- at the same time the environment is benefiting!! good luck!

I'm going to ask a stupid question do these hives have to be situated on small holdings? When I was a kid growing up my late father was a bee keeper. We originally lived on 11 acres in Gillets in KZN and then moved in to the city(Durban North) where he set up a hive in suburbia and it was cool. I would do it in Milnerton Ridge if it was okay....must pass it with the soft one first! :)
