Just spent the weekend with some mates in Livingstone celebrating the softness's 40th. Couldnt pass up the opportunity to take a short flip in a trike over the mighty Mosi-oa-tunya.

"Scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in flight" - David Livingstone upon discovering the Victoria Falls - 1855

Mushe, mushe shamwaris.

Big D

Next week 4 o clock!! Lets make a trip this time next year, perfect weather conditions. Booze is freely available. I know the owners of the microlight company and they can organise all the clearances needed in advance, beautiful flying up there along the Zambezi, Chobe, Vic Falls, Batoka Gorge and Kariba.

Lets do it - any takers

All grades of fuel freely available - at a cost though, about R14/litre unleaded. There are some cheap and nasty places to stay and some reasonably priced lodges, and for the larneys a 3 and 5 star sun international resort. The pans should definitely be included in the itenerary as should the Okavango delta. 10 day trip I reckon. I used to guide safaris up there and live in Livingstone so know the area intimately. Could definitely organise reduced group rates for accommodation and any extra activities, ie, rafting, fishing, bunji jump, etc.

Lets see how many trikes we can confirm??!!
