Rhino Park fire

Postby Rudix » Sat Jun 30, 2007 12:53 pm

I flew to Rhino Park this morning for breakfast, what a sad sight greeted me

The restaurant burned down last night, not a pretty sight ! The only good thing about this is that no planes were damaged as the hangars are a distance from the restaurant.

Here are a few photos.

I hope it won't be too long before this great venue is restored again !

Fly safe,

Pasted over Rhino this morning on a club cruise, did not notice the damage. Very sad, hope it is restored.

Sorry to hear this guys. Not a pleasant situation.
On a lighter note, I would hate to see the price of their toasted sandwiches and coffee after this expensive rebuild.

Crap ............, just when things start happenning at Rhino. Just hope this doesn't demoralise the owners.

Rhino

Howdy,

Drove in to rhino around seven on Saturday and noticed a low hanging film of what i thought was mist... by the time i got to the restaurant it was clear that it wasnt mist but was smoke !!! How sad it was to see the whole place gutted. Such a great pity.

Story goes that some MX riders were trying to boost a fire and thought that petrol would be a great additive. ??

what a waste.
