The MXII took to the sky over Witbank with its new owner (unfortunately not me yet :( ) on Sunday morning. Was a beautiful day for flying.
Here are some pics as promised.

Hi J,

Congrats! Soon it will be ONLY you at the business side the MXII!

Glad to see that she's back in the air again. Please give my appreciation to Johno for returning my stuff so far out of his way.

We'll visit you in the Mizer in the not too distant future!

Regards,

Henni

Unfortunately I haven't flown her myself, but from what I saw you've just got to keep the taxiing speed really low or she wants to take off! Hops up and down in eagerness to get up! (Or flies at a really slow speed, depends on how you look at it).
There were grins all around from pilot and instructor when they landed.
Unfortunately they deemed the controls a little too stiff for a girl :? so I'll have to wait until that's sorted out, shouldn't be a big job, a bit of cleaning and oil.
My joke that I'll do my three-hour cross-country to Witbank airfield (about 2Nm away) was not appreciated! :D
I'm also concerned about how I'll get out of the old bird. With all those wires and the beautiful fairing (we can't decide on shark's teeth or Benoni flames as a design) might be a bit tricky, will have to figure out a way.

Henni thanks, I'll tell Johno. We'll be most upset if you don't pop across (just pick a better wind please! :D).
