With all the news on TV about the hurricanes and destruction that the East Coast of the US is experiencing and the mud slides in the Middle East and South America and floods in Haiti, we shouldn't forget that South Africa has its share of devastating weather too.
This is a picture of the damage done to a cape town residents balcony by the gale force winds that swept through the cape last week. It really makes you cherish what you have, and reminds us not to take things for granted.
