Take a couple of Twinkie's
I find I always get hungry as soon as I loose sight of the runway

Not nice but must agree, thought of riding mountain bike to the airfield to get fit. Luckily I came to my senses and the thought passed.
Yip Demon packed for in case but vowed will only use if absolutely necesary.

All done and back safely. You can all getback in the air now. Was quiet this morning and despite the cold an awesome flight. Circus to Panorama then into the unknown to Syferfontein, No wind near home but man it blew near Bara, a bit of rock and roll but nothing to unsettle the nerves. Then into wind to GAV and Wingfield, gnd spd of 35Mph. A short stop for a P break and then back via FAVV.
It was awesome to get away from the regular scenery and have to navigate.
Took Demons advice and took Garmin with for in case, now to download the track and see how accurately or not I flew

. Almost needed it heading to

GAV, lots of nothing around there but air was clear and could use grain Silo's for reference.
Then back home and on the quad before the rugby, man the life of the priviledged few.

:D :D

I suppose if you have done the route once you won't need it, but always nice to be able to download the log and see where you've been.
Showed my 4 yr old on Google earth. Response was why did you fly if you can just check it on the computer?
It is now apparent to me I am the older generation.
