Best one I've seen yet was a pic of a guy in a Piper Cub who had his bed & matress tied spanwise to the top of his wing. He actually flew it to his destination like that.

Nah - but seriously guys, although in effect he removed the lift of about a third of his wing, he flew it like that to his destination. Not joking!
