At last, an SA mag that get's it right for Microlighters...

Postby FAWGie » Thu Aug 04, 2005 8:34 am

I am delighted !!! Definately someone is observing the comments and suggestions that were posted on this forum's sister forum, Avcom. In a topic a few weeks back, several suggstions were made that the local mags should do a series of aircraft comparative articles to assist prospective buyers....

Well, one particual magazine has responded to these suggestions...They have got it 100% right with your article comparing light aircraft in the format of a survey, great stuff....

It is most informative and certainly an eye opener as to just how much there is available in this category....

I won't be surprised if thier monthly sales well exceeds their expectation.....

This mag is a must !!! Not only for the other content, but to keep as a reference for light aircraft in South Africa......If you are in the market for another light aircraft now or in the future, this mag on your shelf is an absolute must.....

If this particualr mag keeps up this sort of content and I'm pretty sure that they will occupy the slot as SA's # 1 top selling mag..... This mag edition is worth every cent !!!!! In the past, we were told that the mags only want to focus on content where big bucks was paying for the advertising....well, most microlighters are like me and a twin turbine new aerie for SAR32m is a little out of my reach...I want to read a mag that discusses and reviews content that I can afford.... This mag has stuck their neck out and done just that for us !!!!

Usually this mag has been the last on my list of three aviation mags to buy.....It has now become my #1 choice.....I can't wait for next month's offering...... :D

Considering that Microlight pilots make up the largest numbers of the GA sector, let's vote with our checkbooks and support this particualr mag.....It has our interrests at heart !!!

Not quite sure really.....I suppose it comes from not wanting to be held liable from the ither mags when their sales drop off sharply......

I have no commercial interrest in any mag, so remain totally unbiased...I'm just very delighted that at long last, someone out there is producing the kind of content that is useful and what we as microlighters really want.....

So, it looks like Misasa is back on track (Great posings of the Part 62 content on Misasa's web site- well done to all the hard workers out there !!!) and at least one SA mag has woken up......Now what about the other mags, CAA & ATNS? -0<
