Ya RV4ker, lots of unfriendly forced lob terrain.
If I had the vis, still sure I could land with no or minimal injuries to crew but different story for the plane!
Hence my other thread about transponders, would far rather route through this area much higher.

Yip, Transponder or BRS wuld be high on my list. I usually have to choose between, farm road, open veld, sand and only have to dodge the 5 or so koppies on the 180nm trip if the donkey goes belly up. :shock: :shock: :shock: . You guys have far bigger issues that us flatlands jockeys :shock: :shock: :shock:

Did you sideslip on that last approach? The BB does it well...

Thanks AP, sideslips are standard for the approach into The Rest and the BB is a peach to slip right into the flare, great fun.
But you should see my landlord bringing in his C207 into that strip, now thats impressive!
