Stanley Island Flyin Pics

Flew down from Cape Town to Stanley's Island over the weekend, met my flying buddy Tjeerd who flew in from PE. Great weather, good flying, fantastic reasonably price accomodation .....taxi right up to your bungalo ...

Thanks, they are low res previews taken with a Nikon D70 DSLR, getting a little dated now but still takes nices shots ...

will try that next time,trying not to drop the remote control, cant really see when you are taking a picture and trying ever so hard to look laid back ....


the river mouth has moved about 500 meters west but the beach looked fine ...

I was in Plett on Tuesday eve and the high tide was washing right up against the bushes at the back of Lookout beach and right into the corner below the Deck. I remember many years ago taking a 20 minute walk to the mouth to go fishing.
