Posting the best sites for cosmos could make the skies pretty busy over the next few weeks! Can't go tell my friends we're going out to see a couple of pansies.

Don't make me report you all to Kort Broek. If the flowers don't appear this year he will blame flying if he knows you were near.

If a couple of farm strips can kill the environment can you imagine what flying over the Cosmos might do

Lep

Up in Limpopo we don't have many Cosmos flowers.

However, wanting to help, I found this picture for you of Cosmos visiting some of our fields, normally lots of people come to see...

Ok, I'll try to explain how to get to this beautiful cosmos area Rudi has footage of....

I don't have the co-ordinates but i'll explain using the FBR method.......  (fly by road)

Flying east overhead the N17 highway you will pass FASI (Springs) on your left about 3 miles away.

Now that you have a position to work from let me try explain.

From that point fly about +- 12 nautical miles in the same direction east.

You should now start to pick-up the cosmos in the fields. At this point we ussually turn north easterly and as you go you will pick-up more of those fields.

This is a beautiful flying area, hope you get it!!!
