Thanks for the kind words. No I did it in a Raptor, bought Rickies old one, Tjeerd did it in his Windlass ...strapping on all the extra camera kit and parachute may have made it a bit difficult with the 503 ...

The DVD should take me another month or so to complete ...

Wow its awesome. Makes a pleasanty change from seeing trikes flying over the sea, dams and mountains. Its not exactly the environment where you would like an engine out is it? :( You would probably never recover the wreck without a helo. Never mind getting out of there with some injuries  .

Yes the terrain is tricky, you need to be aware like always what you are to do in the event of engine out ....

I have been there in May and June, June was really freezing cold but the weather was better. So take a good sleeping bag, I bought a sheet to go inside my bag , made it a little more uncomfortable but gives you a few more degrees margin.

Two thumbs up to Mark and the gang for an excellent dvd. I watched it last night and can truly recommend it to all. The camerawork, commentary, sound and overall quality of the dvd is of a highly professional nature, not to mention the truly awesome scenery. These guys have made an excellent movie and I would like thank them for sharing their experience with us.
One request guys: Make us another movie soon - I am sure you will get the "Africa" bread just right this time.

Great stuff Mark. Couldn't wait to get home and watched it on the laptop. I soon had a crowd around my desk watching too.

When is the next trip and subsequent DVD?

Keep it up
