Hi All

I am trying to build up my database of waypoints on my GPS. Could we start posting co-ords for any landmarks or nice little airstrips to fly in to. Such as Bronkhorstspruit dam, Baps towers, 702 tower, etc.
I know of some small strips out to the NE of Bronkies dam, but do not have co-ords.
Not sure if this has been done before, but it would help a lot of us. So let's start posting any places of interest and landmarks, etc that we think could help others. Try and add some description and general comments, such as next to x road, x km's from y, etc. As much info as possible. Thanks

A
:)

Go back to the Forum Index - under General - click on Airfields, Destinations & Contacts... a lot of the info you're asking about is right there :D

Hereby a Garmin waypoint file with 879 airfields in SA - Open with Mapsource and then upload to the GPS.

Please note that this file is "foetstoots" I'm not responsible if you fly North instead of South

Downlaoded it and it looks good. Tx Cobra.
I still would like a loit of those "interesting" places people visit. I knwo a lot of the flying groups keep some of these special places to themselves.
