and to keep it relevant to the topic of flying...
often only spotted above ground level
both can suck you dry,
once under your skin, it runs in the blood
looks small at a distance
always avoid the sharp end
also like to hang(er)
potentially dangerous
might produce a slight odour if/when over-heated
do NOT show or tell just anyone about it, again potentially costly and painful consequences
