Bennie I spent about 5 min watching them and I have never seen such a bunch of undicilplined drivers in all my life.
Not worth the effort.
Someone is making money and thats it.

There are only seen kings and c4%^s in motorsport and I have never seen a king there.

IMHO

My comments are as follows.
The race, was a mess. It seems as if the point is to see which car can survive the race, from start to finish without being taken out.
At the start of the race, the "lady"nterviewed JZ. WHY, must south africa interview a raping fraudster?? Where was Thabo, or even better, why did Tokyo Sexwale speak for such a short time. I see this as a embarresment.
SABC were proud sponsors. Well done SABC. But, I ask, why cut the national anthem's, and not even show the champagne spraying?? The chopped the German anthem about 5 seconds after it started, and then continued to show Nigella's cooking program?!?!?!
Then, at the awards. WTF does Jose Perreira (sp) have to do with motor racing. Are we trying to show the rest of the world who we have as a soccer coach? Yes, Premier Ndebele handed out a award, great, but what about Durban City manager, or Major?? motor racing is a sport, soccer is a sport (apparently), but what the hell do they have in common??

rant off - comments please.

I must say, been there smelling the fuel and listening to the noise it was some experience.

But as for the organisation, it left few to desire. Paying R3000.00 per ticket and not having enough food for every one did not do a lot of good. Neither did the fact that no traffic officials working around the race track nor the security personnel at the event could even tell me where Gate 5 were really tigged me off. They turned us away from the Gate to walk around the venue just to return to the same spot and find the gate to be no more than 500 meters from where the officials were standing.

About the heat we rather not speak and next year I will defiantly stay at home, far more comfortable and cheaper.
