Mommy has started opening up to the Microlight scene following Demon's impromtu aerial ballet with the boat (and the canopy) over the weekend... Seems once hangars sites are available at the Dam, negotiations may commence (something about first a holiday in Scotland, then ski'ing in alps, bla bla, all I heard was maybe culd reconsider microlight ban) So I am SLOWLY prowling da net for the 4stoker (as I still have allergy to the 2 stokes, but the fear is fading)... Came across this aerie which must have one of the best UK reg's I have seen...

If anything it should be other way round. My aeries are effectively company transport (much like a company car) Nothing quiet like flying a trike... but my needs (thusfar) have been to get either me or pax A-B fast. Trike (Heli and Gyro for that matter) are no good for that. The schlep factor for me has been the big deterrent to getting trike. I will not get up at 3.15am (like many on here) to go for an 1hr flip. I am more a sun downer type guy and thus I have not pursued the trike flying as when I (finally) arise so has the wind and heat & I end up flying alone in any case... Given that I now have access to airstrip (and hopefully hangar) within 5min walk I can get up at 5.30am and still join the Aviators paradise boys for a sunrise cruise. That makes more sense. Will def look into it, but would need Hangar first and that appears to be some 6 (or more) months away.
