Cape Town - West Coast Permissable Flying

There have been several reports of low flying in the Blouberg area, as well as a beach landing in the Riebeeck Strand area. We have not been able to get any registration numbers, and it is possible that these microlighters are out of town.
A reminder that it is illegal to fly north of Atlantic Beach (FAR36), unless you are above 2000ft (when you will be in the TMA "A" section). North of Koeberg between 2000ft and 4500 ft you are legal, and in this area above 4500ft you are in the TMA "B".
North of Robbesteen you are legal again, and Silverstroomstrand, and the beach north of Bokpunt are beautiful, long beaches where there are not many people, should you need to make a precautionary landing.
Personally I have stopped flying south of Big Bay, because there are simply no space for a forced landing, especially when it is high tide. And this time of the year the Blouberg, Table View and Dolphin Beach beaches are packed.
It is illegal (according to authority to fly) to fly lower than 1500feet above built up areas (ie the yellow bits on a map, or the grey ones on the aviation maps, or the grey ones on regular maps if you are colour blind).
Flying low over the beach where old incontinent ladies take their equally incontinent dogs for walks, will p%ss off someone, causing them to phone the CAA, giving them ammunition to restrict our flying.
