Aye, it is a new cubby. Had her built with tricycle and taildragger attachments. So during those very windy months in the Cape I can fit the nose wheel and I dont have to wait for the wind to die down - she doesnt like strong crosswinds with the tail wheel fitted. Tricycle probably also better if my daughter decides to do her PPL on it too. Anybody want to fly a tail dragger - pm me.

Please post some pictures. Do you have a PPL/MPL or are you still training?

Pictures to follow tomorrow when it arrives. I actually have an atp but I am tired of of just poling a 737 (dont want to sound like a spoilt kid, but airline flying is not what it used to be) so I bought the cubby for some REAL flying for a change.

This is what she will look like once config in the tailwheel setup. Had fittings for both configurations fitted.

I will be lending her to one or two PPL's to recover some of the fixed costs. Minimum experience 300 hrs for the insurance. She lives at Fisantekraal but ultimately will move to Stellenbosch (when I can find some hangar space there - I hope :?: ).
So if you are interested please pm me.

Yip, it is a 2.1 fuel injected vw. I chose it because it looks more like the original J3 cub engine. Some guys dont like them but I am going to give it a shot. I must just take good care of it.
