I hear you guys and yes your planes wing (not sure about the Gyro's) can handle the weight. The question is
a) do you have enough runway to take off with this weight
b) what sort of rate of climb are you getting. If you are getting 100fpm then I suggest you land and lighten up.
c) Can you still fly your plane trimmed, i.e. hands off or are you having to almost hold the plane in the air?
d) do you need close to 100% rpm just to maintain straight and level
e) have you any idea what would happen in an engine out when you are so heavily loaded
I found that AUKie actually didn't like to fly heavier than 430kg. Then I needed to run it close to 6000rpm to maintain straight and level and I could not trim the plane for slower flight. To fly slower I would have had to manually keep up elevator.

Why I asked is beacuse I took a guy for a flip yesterday afternoon.
He is 140KG on the dot
I am 85KG,
With 60L of petrol on board.
Normal RPM to maintain me and guy my size 4100rpm
Me and 140kg guy mantain RPM 4500 (max is 5300)
Clime rate 500-600 ft/m
Wind was howling at fisantekraal.
I must say The RAF impressed me yet again.
I have come to the conclution , if you can fit into the RAF we can fly , if you cant we cant fly. hehehehehehe

Hi Saraf
Would like to see this trick at Rhino park (alt 5500 feet).
With no wind.
Let’s say at 14h00 +- 35 degrees.
There are two kinds of Gyro plane pilots; those who flew behind the drag line after take off.
And those who are going to fly behind the drag line.

hi T
Has been done, John van der Merwe, at Witbank, 6000ft guy 140kg , climb rate was not that imressive but took the father of 135kg and his son of 140 for a flip.
O yes , Eben SNR at allermanskraal dam (5500FT), pax hansie hatting 130kg full feul, no problem. he bought RAF after that flip.
what is max pax weight for your Magni?

hi
OOO forgot to say , guy at allemanskraal , was taken at 12H00 +-30 degrees.
re
Per your website max payload of RAF 575 lbs/262 kg
They flew with 140 kg pilot and pax 130 kg equals to 270 kg at altitude of 6000 ft.
This is without petrol 10kg over MAUW.
If above is true, why does the Shrek Raf struggle to climb at Brakpan with a very lightweight pilot and pax compared to your story.
As for the Magni , I will never exceed MAUW and never plan to.
