Just realised that I have now logged over 100 hours total after last weekend. :D :D did not fly 'kaalgat' coz I'd have scared the kids
It would be interesting to hear from other forum members what they've got in their logbooks to date. Who has over 100, 500 - 1000 ??
Wart notes his hours at the foot of each of his postings - you have been sitting on 5.3 or thereabouts for a while
Cheers..

Hi Demon,
Thanks for turning this into a poll - gr8 idea.
Agree this is now the time to be extra cautious. You'll recall that I have bought a share in a Windlass ZS-WRG, we are re-doing the wiring and jazzing it up before we fly it. I am rated on a Scout and a Hornet, will have to do some conversion time for a Windlass and also get used to a 582 motor. My feeling is that this activity with an instructor will keep me on my toes.
Your 2200 hours are awesome !! I figure a busy Microlighter would do about 100 hours per year and you've been at it for 20 years or so. I have taken 4 and a half years to get this far. Done a lot of hours on the Hornet in the last 12 months but hit the doldrums in years 2 & 3 as I was having to hire and fly at about R450 per hour - $$$$$$$$$$
Cheers.

Not me - Just passed the 500 mark. (But 100+hrs in last 4 months since getting the Meercat

. (Have RV will travel))
Keep the faith. The initial hrs are the hardest to get especially when you pay for them yourself. It took me 19.5 months to get PPL on article clerks salary (R950 a month to start) Once started combining work and flying (traded in company car for company plane

) the fun started, but slow when pay for own hrs in Blik, that why I am keen on ML's.
