Wrt the fat balloon and the tic comment about that encounter , I have never had the pleasure to meet Aeronaut, but am sure that the opportunity is close. At Least I will not be doing a JM Mazda arrival, cos I would also not like to bring the blik in, but hopefully a slow rag & tube stol Baby.

Guys, remember that balloons are very sensitive. I am going to have to take the balloon in for counselling as it is really getting a complex about the Fat comments. Next time I see a weight shift near my lovely balloon I will get out the mozzie spray
Demon, I am sending you the "kitty" pics in the next 1/2 hr. Sorry, can't remember the other word u used....

Name still not finalized due to lack of votes on the suggestions topic.......
In my opinion, the name is fine as it is :!:
The lack of opinions could point that members are :D .....
...and the domain name and forum name is basically the same.

Further I guess that, the name covers a large part of aviation, ML, W/S, 3 axis and NTCA. The one benefits from the other.
If the name restricts it to one of the above, less members participate, in that small industry.
With the present member amount, you cover already a big part of the industry.

We must only get more members to participate, but look at it on Avcom, it took about 18 months until they had 300 members :!:
Only more posts should be posted by the members here, but I think, that is a matter of time and a learning curve, until everybody realised that as more post are written, as more everybody can learn from it

Demon. I think a lot of the members who are new to this type of forum are a bit wary of voting for a name or posting for that matter. (especially since 150 insists on using a picture of my mother in-law as his avatar  )

I would prefer something shorter than ‘microlighters’. I have referred a number of folks to the forum but can never remember the exact name or domain, unless I am at my computer, and have to refer them to the Otto site. Who believes in democracy anyway? Go with your choice.

Don't worry Griffin, you'll find me pleasant...I'm passionate about aviation, all aviation !!! Unfortunately my postings go in spurts, but that's just my time availability...and oh yes, I do love targets...I wish that there were more...500 and 1000 seem so far away.... :D

Just last week there were 2 whirlys flying around Florida at low altitude. I ran outside to gawk, and when the noise died down, I heard screaming from the back garden.

My softness was working on a storm damaged mulberry tree with a chainsaw, and spoilt the moment. She's fine though. It was the neighbours kids!!!
