Jaaa, but I take my boat all over the country and it not a problem? I have access to place at Harties and Vaal, so the boat can go from water in Harties from early morn ski to Vaal for boose cruising with famdamily. ML will take as long to get from Harties to VAAL? I fail to see the problem. Even willing to go Amphib route. Would prob go that way anyway.
For me ideal trip would be down Garden Route. There are vast expanses of water down there and flying down the coast is awesome.... Just ltd strips down there.
Maybe one day I will understand....

I don't do boats - huge expanses of water scare me (as you might have noticed in some of my posts

not to mention heights where I am not tied to something)... alas...
Look at this..

When you boat, don't you pull your pride and joy out of the water and wash it down (or have it washed down by some more than eager Sef Efrican lads)?
I for one would love an amphib and would love to have them floats underneath for that one day when I fly too low...
I see your point in versatility but I also see the Departemint of Water effairs inherent concern.
Would like to see safe to hop from Harties to Vaal or from Harties to Roodeplaat and don't go from Harties to anywhere but those 2 places etc.
I think an amphib is the ROXOR of my BOXERS... I fully agree RV

Even if limited to Harties with wash required before flights away or even land based landing on each hop? Difficult to police, but simple Ban is also not the answer. Maybe a Hyacinth monitoring prg, done from amphib trike platform. I happy to sponsor flights to observe in exchange for rights to use occationally... Will set up similar vid system to monitor. What better way. Parks are using the Bantam, why not Water effairs using a boat wiff a wing? Could also be used for rescue and gen patrol. Have you seen what Harties looks like on weekend. Uses are endless, but I have same feeling about a couple of these stationed at beaches around the country. Red bull meets Pammie... A Babewatch wiff wings if you like....
PPP (Public private partnerships) en all my bru. Time for dem to think outside the Box (as opposed to D..se)... A bridge too far I think
