Wingover to FAKD

Hi Guys. Well I'm glad to say I am safely back home. Was wheels up at Klerksdorp 6:10 landed an hour and 20 min later at Toeval 10 sm west of Koster due to a head wind had coffee and rusks with William the farm owner and landed at INIBOS 9:30. Total distance was 126.6 nm. and a total flying time of 2 hrs 50 min.

Hi Wingover, that trip sound very exciting. any pics, maybe of that Toeval runway? :)

Hi Scorpio

Unfortunately my A.C. bracket broke so I could not mount it and my phone was cable tied because I fly with Airnav Pro. But yes thank you it was a very nice experience 2nd time first was with my 503. I used to do the trip often as a kid first in my Dad"s Cherokee C 180 ZS EOI when I was 6 weeks old Then in the Cherokee Six ZS FGW (twin Brother) 50% family increase so he had to "upgrade" and later on in the 210 ZS CRW and then eventually in the 180 again, he bought back when family was not all in the house any more. The last trip with the Cherokee 180 was with my son and the old man was 76. Chris van Eden took a short video clip of me taking off in the pre dawn so the lighting was not so good
