seldom stick my nose in here, just to see smalls for sale.

Smartphones definitely the death of forums. Pity because whatssap groups are exclusive groups so others who relied on this place for breakfast fly- ins or info of where others had flown to get lost and so there's no meaningful news here, only when one gets bored of flying alone so tries to sell his 'avenue of adventure' on the same forum which doesn't attract viewers.

Need more kak praat, dop 's chop, meet some oke who's made more kak than you thought could never beat yours or meet a genius who can tweak your radio in 2 minutes that you were ready to replace.

How can we adapt this site to something along the lines of WhatsApp? One big group. We need to migrate from a website to something that resembles the convenience of WhatsApp. I'm no computer fundi but I'm sure this can be done.
Might just turn out to be the next craze.

Indeed Andy. One wanders if the guys have just parked their planes or sold them on and the new owners don't see the need or even know about microlighters. Just me thinking aloud.

Goeie naand almal.

Klink of jy lekker hard werk.

Wont say I am one of the "ou manne" but I have been here since 2009...

I also agree the forum is getting to quiet !!!

Seems like all the airfields/clubs is now doing there own things and fly aways are only known to that particular club.I am sure there is still a lot of
flying going on and the sport is growing or is it ? I also don't see the usual "Frikkie went solo" type posts!!

Lets see if we can get the club's to post some numbers of active members.

1 x Explorer (Francois)

Microland is thankfully pretty active. (^^)

Too many to list but at least 30 actively flying...(once a month or more)...with about 80 aircraft I'd say in total hangered there.
Some sadly in advanced stages of decomposition! ##
Good social scene with "get togethers" every month at least. (!!)
ATO and AP on site helps a tremendous amount.

You might just pass your medical. If your bp is under control, you're ok.You'll just have to do a few hours, and rewrite air law...Try it,it's worth it.
