Im also gona chime in.
I love this forum, I learnt so much here, I love trolling trough the vids and stuff, its what motivated me when the exams got me down, it drove me to finish and get flying my own trike!
I love the depth of information!
But even in the year or so I have been active its been constantly decreasing.
It would be awesome if we can get all they fly inns, or even just day trips etc posted, for me flying is a social thing, meeting other guys, having a chat and a laugh, and flying away together!
What can we do to liven up the group again?

Flying might not be all plain sailing, but the fun of it is worth the price.

Eish ---- relax we just have more options!

Remember the party line --- then came telephone books & the YP on the coffee table at the front door --- then came the brick cell phones ---
now phones are smart and chat has taken over..... That's the story!!!

The good news is that this is a blog with many bloggers - the chit chat will go to WhatsApp etc on phones (it is an awesome spot for it) but if you want to share more than chirp - then this is the place. Let me elaborate --- if you say "Good Morning" --- you need not keep the message but if you want to share something on an engine failure, then short messaging sites are not the place.

Same with other media - > microlight pilots prefer printed paper magazines -> They want to feel the story!

Did you know that less than half of microlight pilots open e-mail that is clearly marked as aviation related.

I think that we are all still here to share stories - all that has happened is that the chirp has moved to chat groups.

Have fun and fly safe.

Outeniqua is n monster, for sure! Hou Rotax, hou!! (-)
Die terugvlug was sonder probleme, effense antiklimaks.
Onvergeetlik! Daai gevoel van coqueror is priceless.
What did I learn from this experience?
1) Never let negative talk be a limiting factor in achieving your goals
2) Apply what you have learnt during your many hours of training. No shortcuts!
3) Trust your machine.
4) Plan
5) Respect nature
6) Always enjoy yourself when you strap your aircraft to your backside

I am currently writing this, 200km into the ocean from Rio de Janeiro, and this is the true beauty of this forum. Whatsapp will simply not cut it!
I can escape to my favourite companions (^^)
I will post photos to compliment the story as soon as I am back home. (^^) (^^)

Nice storie Andries. Error

Invalid file extension: Cherokee.docx

I have tried all the tricks to resize this foto and this message keeps on coming up.

"copy and paste" werk nogal vir my.
