Hi guys,

I am tired of IT, thinking to go commercial pilot license and fly for a living.

What would be the bests approach?

Stay in IT and start building your hours as fast as you can afford. Then once done, get your instructors and teach on weekends while building hours. Stay with you paying job until you have lots of hours and have done all the right/relevant conversions. Only once you are offered a permanent flying position that will support your lifestyle can you consider quitting your current job. There are too many qualified CPLs out there without work.

So if I was to put together a package for international visitors which involves all expenses paid trip from OR Tambo to a holiday destination outside of the country which license would I require?

Alternatively, they land in, let us say Mozambique and I need to fly them to their destination, what would I need?

Com and an operating license, in each country that you want to fly them around.
