Flying Wingboard undergoes wind tunnel testing!

Postby John.com » Wed Jul 26, 2017 9:55 pm

What do you think of this invention? Looks fun, but I somehow don't think it will be that simple to learn, or master . . . if it ever becomes legal! ##

Read about it HERE: Successful wind tunnel testing brings flying wakeboard closer to takeoff

If you've ever peered out across the wing from a plane window and wondered how you'd fare out there then you've got a friend in Aaron Wypyszynski, founder of Wyp Aviation and professional extreme sports boundary pusher. His WingBoard, designed to place riders behind a plane so they can wakeboard through the sky, has just successfully completed its first manned, wind tunnel flight testing, edging the aeronautical engineer closer to recreating his childhood fantasy of being towed across the skies by an airplane like the cloud-surfing bear cub from Disney's Talespin.
