Hi All

Was looking at sites and their wing offerings. Many websites state speeds of 34 - 80 mph, then you download the manual and it states 38-70 :?

Can you list what wing you fly and engine with hands off and max speed?

Eg.

Aquilla 2, 582, 45mph, 60mph

I'm trying to determine TRUE specs of wings. If you have FPM that would be nice 2 with reef or sea...

Anyone have info / experience with the Manta ray 12.5m wing? Supposedly VERY good in turbulence and not actually a fast wing.

I got more info on the Manta Ray wing
http://www.gibbogear.com
http://www.lightsporttrike.com

Needless to say the service overseas is IMPRESSIVE! I emailed two suppliers of this wing and this morning I have two good replies +-8 hours! By comparison two local manus took 1 and 3 weeks respectively after I emailed them numerous times!

Anyways the specs for 582 ASL at MTOW
650 fpm climb (1000 solo)
500 fpm sink
Max speed: 70 mph
VNE: 79 mph
Minimum flying speed" 38 mph at full gross
Trim speed: 48 - 62 mph

Perhaps this should be moved to technical?

Anyone have any indication on the performance of the new topless wing being developed by Solo Wings?

I spoke to Aiden from Solowings a couple of weeks ago about the wing. It is not a fast wing. Unfortunately I don't remember the finer details about the wing anymore, so the best would be if you contact him directly.
