Microlight Insurance Survey - Feedback

Thanks to all those who have completed the survey so far - 94 entries.
I will respond to individuals who have offered comments or posed questions, but please be a little patient!
You will notice that we have changed the title of the survey from "Microlight" to "Microlight/NTCA". The reason for this is the provision in the CARs which, for example, defines a 2-seat microlight as having an empty weight of not exceeding 260kgs, even if the gross weight is under 450kgs. So to refer to such aircraft as "microlights" would be misleading, let alone the issue of needing a PPL to fly one, as opposed to an MPL.
Please pass the word around and encourage as many entries as possible. There's no obligation to insure, but we need as much data as we can possibly collate in order to present a credible case to Insurers.
I estimate we'll need at least 500 entries by the time the survey closes at the end of September if we are to achieve our objectives.
So, please, if you haven't completed the survey for your own aircraft, do so now.
Regards
