Bantam Owners

Hi Guys
Any Bantam owners out there looking for someone to share costs of flying etc? Recently qualified on Bantam but cant afford to buy a plane right now. I'm in the Edenvale / East Rand area but dont mind traveling. 08two8727021. Chris. Thanks.

Hi Chris, as discussed a while back, having an NPL (CCM) limits your options on what you are allowed to fly. Your best bet now would to spend a few bucks and do the NPL (LSA) license. This will "open up" your world of potential planes to fly.
Please note : There is nothing wrong with a Bantam. Problem is if you cannot "source" one, you are not going to fly at all.

How many hours do you need to do for LSA Chris ? Do you need to write some of the exams again ?

Hi RV : as per RAASA web site:
Up to a maximum of 20 hrs credit
Min 15 Hrs flying which must include
Min 5 Hrs solo
Min 10 hrs dual
1 Dual inst flight in / out of controlled airport
Skills test with grade A or B instructor.
No exams thank goodness.

You can do it at Springs, Brakpan, Petit.....
