Fellow pilots!

There are times at fly-ins and air shows where you may be landing or taking off after a helicopter. Flying a microlight makes you particularly susceptible to ROTOR WASH from a helicopter, and ones far smaller than the UH-60 Blackhawk in this video! ## ##

If you're a pilot, you're probably familiar with the dangers of wake turbulence. It's powerful, invisible, and can linger in the air for a few minutes.

But what you may not know is that wake turbulence caused by the rotor wash of a helicopter is something to be equally aware of.
