Aviator's (FAAP) to Gobabis (FYGB) via Botswana

Middag Almal,

Ek en 'n kolega beplan bogenoemde vlug vir 24-25 Agustus en weer terug 28-29 Agustus met my nuwe Low & Slow Zenith CH750.

Het meeste van die topics gelees en het begrip vir die ATF's, clearances, ports of entry en moontlike kontak met Louis, Paul, Piet, Zuluben,Hanno en Tinkerbell genoteer, sal graag met julle wil praat.

Roete beblan is seker: FAAP/FAPN/FBJW/FBKG/FBGZ FYGB/FYuitkyk

My 2 eerste vrae aan julle is:

Kan mens nie hopenlik Botswana deur FBMamun verlaat eerder as Ganzi?

Ons wil graag oornag in een van die panne en onder die vlerk slaap, ken iemand dalk iemand wat dit sal kan akkomodeer waar die leeus ons nie sal opvreet nie? (**)

Ek is dom (en van SA). Waar is FBMamun? Ek het Ghanzi - Gobabis gevlieg nie net oor customs nie, maar ook oor fuel.

dis 'n grenspos net oos van Gobabis. dit is nie 'n erkende vlieg "port of entry" nie.

Weet iemand dalk of dit gebruik kan word as mens 'n reeling tref?

Everything coming together now! Nam ATF sorted, (Thank you so much Hanno, you are a friend to this community!!!) although only reference number because they cannot print (**) Bots expensive ATF will be issued this week! Weather permitting leaving sparrows next week 24th

Crossing the FIR into Botswana, Gaborone Approach asked our ETA Jwaneng and could not understand why it would take so long... so he asked "What kind of Plane are you, are you a helicopter" Which became our weekend joke for everything!
