Garmin 296 battery dead

Postby Tumbleweed » Mon Apr 18, 2016 3:03 pm

Does anyone know where to get a replacement battery for the Garmin 296? Mine dies the minute I remove auxiliary power.

I remember reading a topic where you can 'boost' the battery using an old Eveready PM 9 but now that its mine, a bit sceptical.

I believe there are places that will repack the Li ion, but I don't have contact details!

Try Century Avionics at Lanseria
Parasitic Drag: A pilot who bums a ride and complains about the service.
