2016 MISASA AGM to be held at the Harvard Cafe, Rand Airport at 16h00 on 14/4/2016

As per the MISASA Website...

OFFICIAL NOTICE OF AGM

In terms of Clause 12b of our constitution we hereby give notice of the 2016 MISASA AGM to be held at the Harvard Cafe, Rand Airport at 16h00 on 14/4/2016.
Our AGM will precede the Aero Club AGM in the same venue.
The Aero Club AGM will be at 18h30. Members should plan to attend both AGM's.
After the meetings to be held tomorrow at the Aero Club offices, the membership will be e-mailed a reminder.
By order of the Chairman and Committee: 14/3/16 at 1pm

The MISASA AGM 2016 was held as per the notification above.

The meeting was exciting and filled with robust discussion. The new GM of AeroclubSA, Richard Becker, was also in attendance. We welcomed his presence.

The elected committee for 2016/17 is:

We welcome back Alex Rudd after a brief break from the committee....

We also welcome our two newcomers - Byron Lutzke & Freddy Niehaus! Great to have some new blood on the committee with dynamic ideas and energy!

John can you please put some energy into getting our beloved annual fly in back. I feel lost without it. I really looked forward to the event.

We are working on a solution... it's all about special air events the liability. If we don't resolve all this year, then 2017 will see 2 Showcase events... one down in Mossel Bay and the other up top. Who knows, it may even happen at one of our previous venue nudge nudge wink wink

Man that would be great. I have all the confidence that you can do it. I'm off to Vegkop at the end of the month for a sleep over camping fly in . Hope the weather holds out. Can't wait.
