What are you reading?

Postby alanmack » Fri Sep 11, 2015 11:44 am

I have just responded to a thread on AVCOM - Thanks to those that contacted me.
is that what i get for my annual Forced Misasa fees apart from a copy of the worlds worst annual publication and a sticker
Perhaps the thread topic should be... What are you reading?

What are the chances that our friends are discussing their favourite (and least favourite) aviation magazine? Perhaps we should be.

Want to send me a story Cuban8? Take the tour of my editorial policy... I love comments like yours... It's incredible for it shows that the forums have a silent following. I have had, this morning about a dozen phone calls from people that have suggested that I need not tolerate your diabolical insolence. Quiet the opposite, I welcome it. Some of the people that phoned told me who you are and that you live in Cape Town. Our last active scribe from the area was Richard Adcock. I will offer your views in the next eNews to all the members at the end of this month. I will then open the topic for debate.

Would you like to join the editorial panel and start with telling us why, in your opinion, we are the worst! I will, if you do not hide behind your cuban8 approach and sign off with your name, publish your full story, without moving a full stop. I have been editing the magazine for a decade - go on do more than offer a snippet of your views. I would prefer to debate your views, as a member of MISASA, in a round table debate and offer you the opportunity, so that those of us that give of our time to serve, are better able to improve your day.

BTW... the next mag goes to the printers on Monday.

P.S. I'm not crying because you attacked me, I'm smiling because it happened!

I have now joined the ranks of wannabe pilots!

I think this edition is more about the people!

John Miller (rip) in the latter years and after having perfected the prop disc photo.... asked after so many events - what about the people, I want to see the people. Alan has balanced this magazine into just that.... Recreational aviation is about family and friends (^^)
