Hi guys. Can anyone tell me what the designation is for an airborne trike? Like a cobra is ZZ03 and Aquilla is Z156 etc!

Hey Porra
Checked my logbook and my Airborne Edge X 582 was Z172

My opinion, not ideal for a heavy guy at altitude, straight and level with just me in it she revved 5900rpm - needs a 912 for sure. Flies lekker but not a high lift wing at all, not sure of the other Airborne models. Build quality is good, also mine was prone to pilot induced oscillations - scary stuff if you not properly trained how to handle it

Cheers
D

I have the flight manual for the EDGE XT 912-B STREAK 3 - B MICROLIGHT.
TYPE CERTIFIED NUMBER. VA513.
I cannot find any Z designated numbers.
Cheers,
Vernon.

Hey Big D, thanks for the info. I did my flight test on Saturday on a 912 with a top-less wing. Flys nicely but the wing feels heavy. now i just need to pass my air leg exam and human factors to make me a legal pilot in OZ.
cheers

Hey Big D, I did it with Richard Tabaka from Byron Bay Microlights. Nice guy. Passed my exams, and all paper work handed in. Now waiting for my license.
