It started out as one man`s dream

Postby Boet » Fri May 29, 2015 5:51 pm

For many years, (Try 20 or so!), I flew over this enormous dry lake when I was on my way to the Carnarvon fly-in. I always thought: Now THAT is a helluva nice place for a fly in. So two years back, on my way from Carnarvon to my home field, I finally landed there, and the dream started. Two weeks ago we had our first "rough fly in" there. You have to bring all you need, yourself. It was a resounding succes, with 30 aeroplanes present, and now it seems it will become an anual event. I will keep you guys posted. 8)
