Mossel Bay hangarspace? For a topless Yellow Cobra?

Postby Asterix » Sat Feb 28, 2015 10:40 am

How quickly life can change! My same position in Limpopo opened up in the Southern Cape three weeks ago, I pounced on it, and long story short - I am taking up my duties in that region on 1 April 2015. (^^) (and NO - this is not an early April fool's joke)

A lot of work lies ahead in "re-settling" and I was seriously contemplating selling the Cobra - but decided against it.

So - any hangar space available from lets say end - June 2015 - onwards?

He he he!! Dis nie KZN toe nie my vriend!!

All the best for your move down to the Fairest Cape James. :)

You'll have to go have a rum or 10 there in the "Stirrer's Cockpit" sometime! (^^)

Wow nou is ek bleddie jaloers. Maar dit is eintlik vir my goeie nuus. As ek weet daar is iemand met 'n trike by Mos gaan ek sommer baaaaaie meer daar vakansie hou. My plan is in elkgeval om eendag daar, of daar naby, af te tree. Asterix jy beter nie die trike verkoop nie. Laat weet wanneer jy gaan en sorg dat jy genoeg blyplek het sodat ek op jou rug kan kom lê en "sponge". Jou gelukkige bl!@ksem.

You are just going to come here become "sleg" ;-)

Hangars at FAMO are always an issue... but maybe you should chat to Derek Groenewoud who was helped out and possibly you could fit 2 wings in?

Just remember Asterix... you will be receiving a "strafdop" at the Stirrers Cockpit (yes, it is rum but ..... (^^) )

Thanks John. I'll try my best not to become "sleg"!

I'll contact you when I'm down there after 01 April and come say hello.

Hi John and Asterix, Alan Hussey of Microland Tailwinds suggested I contact you guys in Mossel Bay. I am moving to George mid April and wish to join Mossel Bay flying club with my 582 Aquilla. Is there any chance of a long term hangar space contract? I am an active WCM pilot and will be honored to fit into the local flying community ASAP.
