Skydat DX2 Info Please...

I hope I don't sound too "dumb"..
My 1st trike on which I started flying, only had analog instruments, and I got very much used to them...
A couple of months ago I bought another trike which has analog gauges as well as a Skydat DX2 digital system on.
Because I only look at the analog gauges while flying, I have never really used the skydat while flying, but recently it started to interest me and I would like to understand it better.
I don't find info or user manuals online.
My problem is this, it has only 3 buttons, restart and +/- QNH. While standing on the ground with engine off, it shows 20 MP/H...
The vertical speed fluctuates up/down rapidly, as well as the glide ratio.
Is the anywhere I can restet the system? Or is there a problem with it? OR is it maybe normal?
Has anyone who uses this maybe got some tips and info for me?
