Didn't want to comment here but, I think the lack of participation on this topic is because most of us at some time have had good dealings with Paul and in my case with exemplary service beyond what I requested. I thought of him as a good oke and his capacity to develop products to improve communications has been to a lot of our benefit.

I don't know his circumstances but have experienced a creditor holding back payment to the extent that you're unintentionally stuffing someone around just to keep surviving in the hope of climbing out of a hole.

This is probably the biggest cause of contractors or suppliers going under and many have paid a deposit to see the contractor go bust. My brother in law lost a lucrative business because he put his resources in a massive project only to have the developer duck and dive to the extent that his suppliers withheld stock to other jobs for which those customers had paid deposits.

I personally don't think Paul's intentions and integrity is collect deposits and run away but having said that, would be pretty pissed off if I'd paid for something and can't fly. I don't think aviation communications is his core business but that doesn't mean guys who've supported him should suffer.

Paul, we hope you're on the road to recovery but see to your outstanding one at a time or just declare that you're done. Its a small niche market and your business has relied on referrals and good service. Your services are needed .

I am pleased to say received an email from Paul last night to confirm my kit has now been dispatched.I have a tracking number and photo. I understand there had been a mix up with the courier. For me, not getting replies to emails made me anxious. Anyway, I hope Airmagic is back on track as I may also replace the old comms system in my Rans too.

Air Magic is all about communication.
If it is true what Tumbleweed is suggesting then Air Magic is failing in what communication is all about.!!
If you want me to relax about the money I have send you, all you need to do is to communicate with me and thats it!
Dont put the phone down, dont duck and dive, dont make promisses you cant keep. That is not communication.!
I am reasonable and will rather see you get back on your feet than trying to step on you.
So Air Magic start to communicate because that is what you stand for. ##

In Pauls defence....... I recently purchased a microlight and received an Airmagic system with it with which I was experiencing a few problems. I mailed Paul and received a response within 5 minutes of sending the mail and without any questions he asked requested my postal address to replace the PC board in the headset which could be the cause of the problems. So from my point of view .... good service .. !!!!

I bought a visor from AirMagic, the item was send via PostNet and only after I EFT his money. I am sure AirMagic has good intentions and I am sure Paul want to make good where a sale went slightly off the rail. But regurlarly communication is of utmost importance to maintain credibility.

If I may ask, did the pc board arrive? He also promised me to send one but I am still waiting.....................
