Microlighters

Hi there guys,

Can anyone tell me if there is an airfield/microlight club close to Scottburgh? I'll be visiting for the festive season and would like to know if it will be possible to hire & fly a trike in that area from time to time? Awaiting anyones response.

Hallo Paul.
Sorry there is nothing at all. The field at Schottbourgh is a no no!! Not allowed to use their runway. the nearest is Margate, then us in Munster, But no one hiring.

Unfortunately I am still waiting for someone to give me a check out flight in my Challenger, as I have not flown for over a year, and not flown a Challenger for over fifteen years. As the saying goes. "There are bold pilots, but no old bold pilots" "I am old"!!!!! and definitely not bold If anything changes, I will give you a shout. I have your number.
We have the most fantastic scenic coastal flying here.

Ek is vanaf die 20ste tot die 3de toe daar.Staan op site nr 4.My sel is 082 852 5961.

Thanks Vernon, perhaps you know someone else who can take me up? Would love to see your area from the air. I flew with my father-in-law in his R22 in the Margate area about 13 years ago, I just loved it.
