Rob says Africa Cup this year in Numbi is on over the long weekend in September. This being the tenth one it will be the last one he is organising.

Not sure if it's the tenth one at Numbi (**) ,but it must be the 24th or 25 one...My first one was at Badplaas and that was nr 13(think it was in 2001 (**) )

Agreed Nico, it can't be the 10 nth one overall. Maybe it is the tenth one he has organized. I believe Mr. Hicks is the next organizer. I missed last year but want to join in the fun this year again. (^^)

I will be there this year.

I inspected the runway on Friday and I can confirm that it is still there.

Checked that the pub is still there too and the beers are cold (^^)

To answer the questions above.
I organized the first Africa Cup in Maseru in 1987.
We then moved it to Numbi in 1988, there was just one year when it was hosted in Badplaas.
So this year will be Africa Cup no 28, and the 26th at the Numbi Hotel.

I will be there with my Rietfontein mates :)
