Aeroden Windsock Now Up Again!

Greetings Fellow Pilots!

Just to let you know that the windsock at Aeroden (Magaliesberg) is once again fully functional! vhpy

Good to know because it seemed like this weekend there was a hell of a lot more wind than we predicted ?? - was howling in JHB.

At Kroon it was like a tumble drier (**) (**) (**)
Went to Brits and it was smooth as baby bums....... perfect (^^) (^^)

At Kroon it was like a tumble drier
Went to Brits and it was smooth as baby bums....... perfect.

Took off from Aeroden in a tumble drier, but as soon as you clear the turbulence created by the mountain (when blowing from the south), the air becomes manageable.

Aeroden windsock gets severely affected by wind - although you still land on 18 (uphill) and take off 36.(downhill)

Its always like a tumble drier at Kroon :lol: :lol:
