I don't get the logic of the insurance companies... Aircraft licenses are 1000x more controlled with exams, practical training, medicals, etc than driving licenses... Anyone can easily obtain a driving license (not to speak about the fake ones).

Compare the number or vehicles on the road (and fake licenses) the chances should be exponentially higher to be involved in a car accident than an aircraft accident... or do I miss something?

Being said, what life insurance company would then be the best (cost effective) option to have if you are a pilot?

cant see the justification of an increase.

Grumpy, judging by your picture on the avator I can only guess that the increase could be due to your age.!! :lol: :lol:

I think my policy had a 200 hour load or restriction and had to just advise when I reached the hours for it to fall away.
